Who are Baptists?

We are a church community with people from all over the world and from all parts of society. We all have in common that we believe that God loves all people. As a visible sign of that inner process we get baptized. Legally, we belong to the Bund Evangelisch-Freikirchlicher Gemeinden in Deutschland (Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts). Thereby, we are also part of the Landesverbands Baden-Württemberg. We feel very close to the other Baptist congregations around us:
Radolfzell, Singen, Überlingen, Friedrichshafen, Ravensburg and Waldshut.

What is important to us?

We experience that the faith in Jesus Christ and the relationship to him has effects on our lives. The security and hope we get from this relationship gives us the freedom to be there for people, to take them seriously and to give them a home. An offer in this context is the bistro which we especially offer for refugees in Konstanz.

Responsible Persons

Our church community is being represented by three so-called elders. They coordinate their actions with the church leadership and the whole congregation after democratic principles.

With whom we work together

We work together with other Christian congregations in Konstanz and Kreuzlingen. Among others, they are organized in the Evangelischen Allianz Kreuzlingen-Konstanz and the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen Konstanz. In Konstanz-Allmannsdorf, we have a good relationship with the Evangelischen Kreuzgemeinde and the Kirchengemeinde St. Georg – Maria Hilf.
